Financial Modelling is the #1 skill investment banks, equity research firms and private equity funds test in interviews. SkilledGrad teaches it using real listed Indian companies, not textbook examples.

Financial Modelling is a tool for investment decision making. It is used in project finance, equity research, investment banking (IPO, M&A). The decision could be whether to make investment in a project or a company, at what value you should buy or takeover a business. Excel along with AI tools are extensively used in the process currently.
It is one of the most frequently tested practical skills in investment banking, equity research, private equity and corporate finance interviews. At SkilledGrad, we teach financial modelling using real listed Indian companies, so you build models that look exactly like what you'd build on day one of a finance job.
Before touching a financial model, you master the Excel functions that every analyst uses daily.
Each module builds on the last, from 3-statement basics to advanced equity and M&A models.
Every path starts with the 3-Statement Model, which the rest of the course builds on. After that, different modules matter for different roles.
Investment banking analysts value companies for mergers, acquisitions, fundraising and IPOs. Three modules are built for that work.
Equity research analysts form a view on a listed stock and defend a price target. Two modules take you through that, ending with a one-page research note on a real NSE or BSE company.
Project finance teams at banks, infrastructure funds and advisory firms judge whether a project can raise and repay its debt. The course prepares you for these roles too: the Excel discipline, cash flow logic and valuation thinking it trains are what their interviews test.
Every session is hands-on. You open Excel and initially work along with the trainer and slowly move to a point were you are asked to take the lead. Idea is by the end of the course you should be able to build a model confidently.

Both founders bring experience from the Investment Industry and understand what is required in a finance job. They are actively involved through out the process.
